Open Window SRC Camp

During the month of February we had the incredible opportunity to host a leadership camp with the student leaders (from 2018 and 2019) of Open Window. During the camp we focused on basic leadership principles needed for both self- and team leadership! We also had the opportunity to share a bit more about who we are as a church and a campus ministry, what our faith means to us and how that help and enables us to be the leaders God has called us to be.

Centurion Academy Orientation Week

This is always one of the highlights as we start a new year - when we get to meet the new first years on Campus! During the first years camp we were able to spend time with every first years group to give input into the direction of their lives and we managed to spend quality time with students and have conversations around faith, forgiveness, identity and having the right friends!

Jean du Toit | Young adult

Being able to journey with Jean in his relationship with Jesus has been one of the highlights of 2018 and most definitely been my privilege. I remember getting together at the beginning of the year and talking about the Gospel, talking about how Jesus saves us and changes us.

Zinhle Radebe | Student, Centurion Academy

Zinhle's story is one of the perfect reasons of why we do Campus Ministry. We got in contact with Zinhle after a lecturer referred her to us for counselling. After our first meeting together we told her that there are two routes we can take, one with Jesus or one without.

Aimeé is the girlfriend of Oupa and after Oupa became committed to discipleship Aimeé started asking questions. She comes from a very religious family, but she didn’t have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Burgert Stoop | Student, Centurion Academy

We met Burgert during his first year’s camp when his life was at a very low and dark place. We met up for coffee after the camp and talked about the grace of Jesus that is able to change any life – regardless of the past or the things we have been part of.
